Depending on the size of your shipment, there are several loading alternatives available. For smaller sized shipments we recommend crating in wooden lift vans and shipping as consolidated freight.  For larger shipments, in excess of est. 12 cbm, sole use of steamship containers is the suitable method. The steamship containers are ISO-standard and are designed for the transport of cargo using various transportation methods.  For transcontinental overseas transportation, 20', 40'/40'HC as well as 45' containers are being used.

 

Only specially treated wooden lift vans may be used for international moves. This is in accordance with the Import Packing Material Regulation - IPPC standard.   Atlas International Relocations makes wooden lift vans in-house allowing us to control the quality of these crates.

 

The standard measurements of the lift vans are as follows:

Capcity:	Net:	5 – 5.5 m3
